Art Classes with Gail Allen
Having had a lifelong love of creating, Gail has always nurtured creativity in her children, friends, children’s classmates and others who have found their way to her door. From gardening and landscape design, to drawing, painting, sculpting and craft works, as well as cooking and interior decor, she has worked with many individuals to bring out their creative abilities - as she truly believes this is an essential part of balancing ourselves in this busy world.
Her accomplishments range from running a successful Graphic Design Studio, to illustrating magazine covers, articles and promotional pieces and currently working on a children’s book, as well as her fine art paintings, pastels, drawings and sculpture. Her traditional art training in illustration and painting has made her versatile in many mediums.
  
Starting in May of 2012, Gail Allen will be teaching art classes both at her home studio:
7 Flagg Rd
Hollis, New Hampshire
and also at a new location:
The Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center
Ash Street
Hollis, New Hampshire
A variety of classes for all ages are available. Starting with basic classes in the exploration of their creativity for 4 to 6 year olds, using many different mediums while introducing them to the color wheel and form.
 
Classes will also be offered in both locations, for teens and adults in foundational visual language skills for drawing and painting. While her classes at the Creative Arts Center offer larger classes, Gail continues to offer private studio classes, for teens who may have an interest in pursuing art as a career and want help in building a portfolio and also for those adults who would rather private one on one, or up to a maximum of three persons in classes for a more focused approach.
In addition, there will be one and two day workshops offered in a variety of creatively spiritual pursuits: from Making Mandalas, to a Meditative Walk in the Woods - Illustrating Your Personal Path.
